Also try to incorporate some relaxation time that will help you deal with the anxiety that comes with nicotine withdrawal.

Avoid Your Triggers Like the Plague

Before your quit smoking day, you should have made a list of situations or activities that trigger your smoking habit. Avoid these triggers at all costs on your quit smoking day. Perhaps the most effective activity on your quit smoking day is one that you enjoy a lot but you don’t do often, or have never done before. That way, you can be active without doing something that you used to do while smoking.
